How do I get to Maranatha Baptist?
Please visit our directions page for more information regarding our location.
What can I expect on my first visit?
You can't miss our church at the intersection of Garrett Rd. and
Hadley St. The main entrance is on Garrett. Rd. off interstate I-20, and
you'll recognize it by the sign. One of our hospitality greeters will
meet you and direct you to the right class and service. They can also
answer other questions you may have.
Most adults attend Sunday School and the preaching service where they
enjoy Bible teaching from Bro. Dan Dallalio, followed by a clear,
helpful, and challenging message from Pastor Daniel Goodman. This
service is a little over one hour in length. The best way to get to
know people at Maranatha Baptist Church is to visit one of the adult
Bible classes.
Where do I take my children?
Starting with an excellent nursery, there is something special for
every age child. At every service there is a safe, clean, and staffed
nursery for children three years old and under. For children four years
old through sixth grade there is a fun, friendly, and Bible-centered
children's church during the Sunday AM preaching service. There are classes for
all ages in our Sunday School time.
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Maranatha Baptist Church for members
or guests. Our ministry leaders are asked to dress in modest
apparel that would honor the Lord Jesus Christ and represent Him well,
both in church and out. Many of our church family dress in a more
traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would
feel welcome on your visit here at Maranatha Baptist!
Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?
No. We don't invite you to Maranatha Baptist Church for your
offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find
in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place
where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to
participate in the offering as a guest.
Other questions?
If there's something we missed on this list, just give us a call,
or ask someone when you arrive. Whether you're new to the area and
looking for a church home, or if it's been a long time since you've
attended church at all, we hope your first visit at Maranatha Baptist
Church will be awesome! We exist to serve you and your family, and we
are looking forward to meeting you personally. We hope you'll feel right
at home from the very first moment you step onto the church grounds!
Let us know how we can serve you better, and we hope to meet you this
Sunday!
